Careers at CLB Network:

We are looking for a self-driven, reliable, and creative problem-solver to join the CLB Network team. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing strategy for CLB Network and CLB Network’s community of home builder clients. All marketing efforts are carefully implemented with the intention to scale out to each of our members in order to enhance their business’ brand and growth. You should a competent professional who is well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will enhance our reputation and growth. Must understand the importance of metrics and data from a marketing perspective. Must also be comfortable working from home while staying exceptionally productive.

Responsibilities

CLB CRM Management 

  • Assisting with updates and management of CLB Sales in the CLB CRM
  • Tagging leads appropriately
  • Updating and cleaning contacts, emails, workflows, and lists as necessary
  • Assist in pulling and analyzing CLB Network Sales Reports

CLB Client CRM Management 

Creative and problem-solving mindset in order to solve problems for our builders and scale to all

  • CRM Setup for new members
  • Customizing CRM upon request, if request is approved by CLB Team
  • CRM Onboarding for new members
  • CRM support for new and existing members
  • Assist in managing the Strategic Partner Email campaign for each member
  • Assist in encouraging all members to use each part of the CRM (especially the sales pipeline)
  • Assist in rolling out updates to all Client CRMs
  • Assist in posting to and managing social media accounts and blog of CLB Network and CLB Network Members
    • Collaborating with team on content and captions
    • Ensuring all content has been shared and mapped out on the CLB Network Member’s Content Strategy board in Asana
    • Research and Engagement for CLB Network and CLB Network Members
    • Assisting with blog posting for CLB Network members
      • Blog Keywording
      • Blog Review
      • Assist in reviewing Blog performance to determine most popular each month
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, etc.)
  • Assist in established programs for CLB Network members

      • Collect all information from the member
      • Create Entry Page
      • Create Showcase Page
      • Set up CRM form and tracking information

  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail)
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

Role will be guided by Director of Marketing Analytics & Insights and working alongside entire team.

Skills

Responsibilities:

Content Development & Execution:

Translate construction industry topics into engaging ideas. Push the boundaries and bring creative ideas to the table. We know how to make the best content for search engines, but we need your expertise to make it the best in terms of readability, communication of messaging and branding, creativity and effectiveness.

  • Write, edit, and manage high-quality content for websites. This content includes blogs, on-page content, landing pages, creative assets (ebooks), etc.
  • Write, edit, proofread and fact-check copy for brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Write for your audience – B2B and B2C decision makers.
  • Develop concepts, angles, and voice for all content pieces.

Planning & Managing:

You will be charged with leading the content creation workflow from beginning to end with content writers, designers and developers.

  • Manage a team of freelance writers and designers with subject-matter-expertise relevant to CLB and CLB members. This includes scheduling assignments in Asana, our project management platform, keeping track of workload, addressing any questions from, proofing their work, providing constructive feedback, and onboarding.
  • Support our internal project management team in developing content strategies and plans, including social media postings, blogs, and website content for CLB and CLB members.
  • Manage and maintain content calendars for CLB and CLB members.
  • Develop content that is planned around and supports the buyers journeys.
  • Measure the effectiveness of your content by setting, tracking and reporting on insights and meaningful metrics (KPIs).

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2 years marketing experience (Required)
  • 2 years professional writing experience (Preferred)
  • Understands SEO techniques and best practices as related to content writing to ensure content satisfies searcher intent.
  • Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
  • Understand design and the creative process.
  • Experience in managing designers and developers to implement creative content.
  • Excellent work ethic and communication skills
  • Familiar with (or be willing to learn) Asana, Google Drive, Lucid Press, Canva, SharpSpring
  • Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and implementation.
  • Past projects that include using data to tell stories online.

The Work

We're looking for a confident mostly front-end freelance developer to help iterate on our own site(s) and also our client websites with new features (improved galleries, new menus, project showcase pages) and improvements (go ahead, run a lighthouse report... we need to do better, are you the one to help?). All our sites are Statamic v2 for now, eventually we'll want to move to v3. Check out https://www.zimandevelopment.com/ for an example of a client site. 

Our Team

CLB Network helps Luxury Custom Home Builders dominate their markets, and an important part of that is their website. Our long-term relationships with those clients mean we're always working to improve their websites with new features, integrations, design refreshes, and performance improvements as we learn and web technologies move forward. We're a remote-first company, though most of us are centralized around Naples, Florida.

Requirements - HTML, CSS, JS, Git

Ideal person is comfortable doing design-as-you-go filling in the gaps from a wireframe/rough mockup/example website(s). We currently use Laravel Mix, Tailwind CSS (v0), and Vue.js (v2). (Upgrading to latest tailwind is one improvement you could help make.) Of course, everything is in git repositories and you'll be expected to contribute your code to the repository with clean commit messages like git commit -m 'Improve lighthouse score' -m '- optimize images with addon_x' -m '- remove & replace big_dependency.js' etc.
